This book is lovingly dedicated to my mother, who spent her life teaching me how to stand firm in my faith and trust God in every situation.
She lived her faith daily—not just in words, but in everything she did. Whether she was writing, painting her beautiful ceramic angels, or sewing clothing with careful and loving hands, she poured her heart and her faith into every detail of life. She believed that anything worth doing should be done with patience, care, and purpose
She shared a lifetime of love with her husband, James Bell Sr., her childhood friend who became her partner in life. From their early years growing up together to more than fifty years of marriage, they walked side by side through every joy and every hardship. Their journey was built on loyalty, perseverance, and an unshakable commitment to one another, proving that true love is strengthened through the trials life brings.
She was a devoted mother to her children, James Jr and Angelena, and her love for her family was boundless—especially for her beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Kheana (Jayden), Lauryn, Cameron, David, and Destiny.
To each of them, she gave not only her love but the wisdom she had gathered through life’s many lessons and the faith that carried her through every season.
She taught us that no matter what life brings, we can stand strong when we place our trust in God.

About The Authors
Angelena Bell is a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer, a federal employee, and a woman whose life has been shaped by perseverance, faith, and service. Throughout her journey she has faced and overcome many personal challenges, including divorce, breast cancer, and other life obstacles that strengthened her relationship with God and deepened her understanding of faith and resilience.
Angelena writes from the heart, drawing on her life experiences, her Christian faith, and the wisdom passed down from her family. Her work reflects themes of spiritual growth, redemption, perseverance, and trusting God through every season of life. Through storytelling, she hopes to encourage readers to stand firm in their faith and to remember that God is present even in the most difficult moments.
She currently lives in the United States where she continues writing, working, and sharing messages of hope and faith through her stories.
